For the past seven years Wiygul Automotive Clinic has partnered with Kids R First, a non-profit organization that provides school supplies to needy kids in Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
The relationship between Wiygul Automotive Clinic & Kids R First all started at a Herndon Rotary Club meeting. Susan Ungerer, President / CEO & Founder of Kids R First was desperately seeking the help of a local business to help transport school supplies from retail stores to their Kids R First distribution center. One of our community service driven employees known as “WD” quickly and enthusiastically volunteered to help.
Since then, every year Wiygul Automotive Clinic helps deliver 30+ palettes of school supplies from the Walmart in Chantilly to Rachael Carson Middle School Cafeteria in Herndon, VA (the Kids R First Distribution Center).
Wiygul Automotive Clinic has been labeled a “life saver” by the Kids R First organization. We are proud to be a part of such an incredible organization that helps ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed throughout the school year. Over the past 19 years, Kids R First has grown from helping 450 kids at four different schools to helping over 32,000 kids at over 100 schools!
