A Maryland Vehicle Safety Inspection must be performed on most vehicles before they can be registered in the State of Maryland.
Wiygul Automotive Clinic’s Clinton, Fort Washington, and Waldorf, MD locations can assist you with your Maryland Vehicle Safety Inspection.
The safety inspection usually takes 1.5 hours. When our trusted, knowledgeable technicians finish, they will prepare an inspection report that shows the vehicle parts or systems examined and whether or not they have met Maryland’s inspection standards.

Since I moved to Alexandria last year, Wiygul has been the only place that I have taken my car for tune-ups, repairs, and to get any and all of my questions answered. Dave and his team are polite, kind, and smart, which makes the (sometimes anxiety-inducing) experience of taking your car into the shop a lot more enjoyable. Since day 1, Dave provided me honest estimates and excellent service for my car, and I have only positive things to say about everyone who works at Wiygul. I recommend this shop to all of my friends in the area.
-Carlisle SargentFor more than 20 years, Wiygul Automotive on South Pickett Street in Alexandria has been our "go-to" spot for car maintenance and repair. Not only is the job done right, every single person on staff is customer focused. We can't speak highly enough about the entire Wiygul team!
--Rob & Chrystal YoungI have been a customer of Reston Automotive foe over 15 years. They have serviced vehicles from multiple manufacturers for me. Work is done well and timely. I appreciate that I get information about other things that may need attention with recommendations for what is critical and what is optional. Staff is always friendly and takes the time to explain what is going on with the car.
