Oscar Wiygul, Sr. and his wife Sue opened their first Automotive Clinic in 1976, in the city of Alexandria. Ten years later, they purchased their second Alexandria location and then in 2006, went on to open two more Automotive Clinics in Herndon and Reston.
In 2014, our family expanded the business into Maryland. We now have automotive clinics in North Waldorf, South Waldorf, La Plata, Fort Washington, and Clinton which employ dozens of automotive technicians and service writers. Every MD state inspection takes about 1.5 hours for each Waldorf MD vehicle. Our trained auto technicians provide an exhaustive report after each inspection to show each part and system passed or explain why it did not, and what it takes to fix the failure.
Maryland divides the State Inspection into four categories: Autos and trucks over 10,000 pounds (commercial vehicles), autos and trucks 10,00 pounds or less (passenger vehicles primarily), motorcycles and three-wheel vehicles, and trailers.
